Finally an Update!! February 7-17th
We are having a field trip to Heritage Park on Friday! Thanks to Mrs. L and Mrs. D for volunteering for our class. We will be gone from 8:50 - 12:45. Should be lots of fun!
Students have started an Olympics Project. Each group of three is working to promote their city as the next host city for the winter Olympics. They are creating powerpoints to try and convince the Olympic committee to pick their city, as well as creating original mascots and emblems too!
AR Reading Olympics has been going strong since mid January. Each students has their own goal that they are trying to reach by the 16th of February. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be presented on the 17th to each student who reaches at least one part of his or her goal.
On March 1st students in division two will be participating in a science fair at our school. Two of the winners will go on to the regional science fair in Calgary. We will be working hard on this at school until March 1st, but many students will need to complete their experiements at home as well. Some websites that may help you are listed below. Please let me know if you have any questions.
